Arsene Wenger is in hope that the skipper Cesc Fabregas may be on the field in the match against Chelsea that will be the crucial Premier League game.

23-year-old Fabregas, in the last weekend’s draw match against Sunderland, damaged his hamstring deflecting Anton Ferdinand’s clearance into the net.

Fabregas tweeted recently that for a fortnight he would be sidelined and the diagnosis may make him return on the field for the October 3 clash.

Later, while speaking to the media, Arsene Wenger had his fingers crossed to count his captain at Stamford Bridge.

He said (as quoted by SkySports.com), “I hope that he will be ready for the Chelsea match and that he will be fine.”
