Abou Diaby, the Arsenal midfielder, ruled out of next two games due to his injury on weekend in the 4-1 win over Bolton Wanderers.

He has received an ankle injury from Trotters defender Paul Robinson in the 72nd minute of the match and was subsequently replaced.

Now, the Gunners are without key players as Robin van Persie, Nicklas Bendtner and Theo Walcott are also out due to injuries.

Diaby will be missing the matches against Braga in the Champions League and in the Premier League against Sunderland. He may be fit next week to face Tottenham in the League Cup.

This news is a relief to Wenger. He was quoted earlier, “It was a bad tackle. Diaby is not in a very good shape… He cannot move his leg at the moment so we must wait to see if we have got away with it.”
