Mark Schwarzer, goalkeeper of Fulham, may be joing Arsenal. However, the report is not confirmed.

37-year-old Schwarzer played an important role in the Europa League run last term and was hugely tipped to move to north London to join Arsenal.

On the other side it Fulham denies that Schwarzer has been a summer-long target of Arsenal.

The shot-stopper had already been offered £2million by Australian and it has been turned down.

Spokeswoman of Fulham siad, “The club has not received a transfer request from Mark Schwarzer. Mark is under contract with us until the summer of 2011 and the manager has underlined his commitment to keep hold of his best players.”

Well, reports are there that he has been asked to leave Craven Cottage so that he could be linked to the Gunners for the chance to play UEFA Champions League.
