Arsene Wenger admitted recently that the failure to win this season’s Premier League can bring a surprise end of his stay in Arsenal even though he has agreed to stay until 2014. On Saturday he signed a new three-year contract extension.

Wenger says this is the last-chance for him because no more excuses are left offer now.

He said, “Man City invested 100 million pounds and we invested eight million pounds. Yet if we do not win it, then people ask questions. It is right because if we don’t win the championship, I think it’s an absolute disgrace.”

Wenger added further, according to News of the World, “It is time for us. I believe we have done well to stay in the top four in recent years but now is a time we want to deliver. I always consider a season make or break but maybe this one is more than ever.”

For Arsene Wenger trophies mean only two things and that is Champions League or the Premier League.

He said, “Would you like to finish 10th in the league and win the League Cup and say you won a trophy? Certainly not.”

Well, Wenger is hopeful that the Gunners are enough wiser and older to push close to the silverware and this is what matters to him. He says the main target is get the maximum from his squad. He trust the squad and he expects his few favorite players to be stronger and more influential this season.
