Ferreira says Gunners can cope without Fabregas

The absence of captain Cesc Fabregas, feels Porto coach Jesualdo Ferreira, that it will not change the way Arsenal tackle the Champions League clash on Tuesday night at the Emirates Stadium.

Fabregas suffered a reoccurrence of a hamstring problem on Saturday in the Barclays Premier League game against Burnley in which the team won by 4-1.

Samir Nasri, the French international, is likely to be moved into the centre.

Ferreira said, “Success always depends on the collective team, every player is part of that. Fabregas not playing will not change the way Arsenal face this match. We can expect a very strong Arsenal.”

He also said further, “The match will probably be decided by small details – Arsenal are very good in dealing with these, but we will focus on our own strength.”

Porto till now have lost all the 6 of their trips to London.

According to Ferreira, the Tuesday match will be different.

He said, “We know what our qualities are and we are confident. This will be a very difficult match, but we have the weapons which make it tough for Arsenal. You need to be able to adapt tactically, but we are always playing to win. We will try to do the same what we did at Estadio do Dragao.”
