It is all about the money!!!!!!!!!if Gael stays another season then he will have freedom to leave in anyway for free, meaning Arsenal will loose out. So sell now and get the money as there is enough backup…Gael cannot get any better or faster, but Gibbs and Traore can improve

If we did sell clichy we’d better have a replacement lined up.
Gibbs and traore are both fantastic young LBs, but we’ve lost 2 of our 3 fullbacks a few times this season.
It would be a huge risk to rely on them as they both have pretty poor injury records.

i donot think that gibbs can take over clichy in the coming season, and i understand that clichy is not in his best form after coming back, so he would rather stay with us

selling Clichy for £16 mil. Would be a great deal for us. This
seasen he isnt playing well and if we keep him another seasen with his current form then his price will not be the same. So selling him now its the best time and i think
Gibbs was playing better then Clichy is playing these last games. For me Gibbs is a better player and will be a great left back. Even i am an albanian and never have been in England, i can understand the importance of having more english players in the team, specialy in diffencive line.

I think selling a player of Clichy’s calibre would be a big big mistake. Different matter if he wants to leave. Clichy is currently a better player than both traore and gibbs. Gibbs needs 2 more years to be a worthy replacement.
