It was just after the Gunner’s goalless represent at Aston Villa and Sunday’s beating by Manchester united at 3-1 in another side.

“I still feel progress from day to day, so I definitely think that I soon will be completely fit.”

Nicklas Bendtner promised he may be progressing day by day for Arsenal. Though still the recent results are confusing the victory of Arsenal, Bendtner is more confidence.

“I was completely fit against Villa, but it’s a gradual thing so I was on the bench against United.

“When I get back to full strength, I’ll be able to make a major impact,” he said.

“We have different types of striker who can do different things, and I think the team has missed a type like me.

“We didn’t get going against Manchester United but now we get another chance on Sunday [against Chelsea] which we must take 100 per cent.

“We’ve still got a chance if we win that match. If not? Well, then it’s hard to say how it will develop.”

To avoid defeat would be extremely good, but winning is not an absolute necessity. We should be challenging strongly this year regardless of the result on sunday. As many have pointed out after this and liverpool there are only a couple of particularly tough games, and neither of them are as tough as chelsea/Utd.

If we put in a strong performance tommorow, give everthing. Then the result will be fine. We have to fix up our mistakes from the Utd. Game.
