Wenger says Gunners may move for Chris Smalling
The boss of Arsenal, Arsene Wenger, reveales that Arsenal could make one more move for Chris Smalling, the Fulham defender.

According to Goal.com UK, it has been confirmed from sources that the Cottagers had accepted a £7 million bid for the player, but Arsene Wenger has given hint that this might not be the end of the north Londoners’ interest.
Arsene Wenger said to the media at a press conference, “It just looks like Manchester United offered more money than us, but as long as the player has not signed anywhere it is not the end of it.”
He also added, “Let’s see what happens there. We will not come out on what we are doing exactly. It has come out [elsewhere], but that does not mean it is true. If we have anything more to tell you we will let you know.”
On the other hand Wenger also mentioned that a loan deal for Jack Wilshere is supposed to be concluded by this week.
He said, “We have interests now from a few Premier League teams, it will be decided today or tomorrow.”
