Cesc Fabregas: I’ve given my all for Arsenal
Cesc Fabregas, the Spain international had a rough time in last year when he was sidelined for nearly four months because of an injury. However, the fortune favors the brave and the return back to the side not only favored the fortune of his own career but also transformed the Gunner’s performance. Compared to last year performance, Arsenal is now leading the Premier League.

And the role behind the Arsenal’s success is no doubt appreciable. He has been instrumental in the resurgence of the team, leading with 10 Premier golas and 13 overall in all.
Talking to reporter of Champion magazino Spain superstar said: : “I was really down last season. I couldn’t enjoy anything, everything was negative. I lost that passion for the game and was happier closed off at home. It’s a very odd feeling.
“To be ruled out for four months through injury was the worst period of my career, but I learned a great deal from that experience. “
He also said that he has made drastic transformation in the his mentality. Earlier it was a tough task to cope up with a defeat and took almost 3 hour to recover from the lose. Now it takes 30 mins. He said that now his family, girlfriend and friends have become more important for him, and this instill postivitism in him.
“Before my injury, I took it all far too personally. Now I just think, well, what are you going to do? I don’t allow it to get to me.”
He said the speculation over his move to Barcelona and Real Madrid was absolutely baseless. At present he had not intention to link with Spanish clubs. He has expressed his gratefullness to Arsenal and wanted to stick with the club. Though he said no one could say what would happen in next future.
“I’ve given my all for Arsenal. I’ve played when I’ve felt ill, and through injury. I even played in the Champions League a few hours after my grandfather died. I’m proud to be a part of this club, and I’ll always be proud of what I’ve done.”
