Wenger believes Manuel Almunia is in his best
In just 18 matches Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has tried four different goalkeepers this season. He has put the defence struggle and an appreciation of the dangers are there of rotating such a key position on field.

He said, “Usually it’s better to have it settled because of the confidence factor… I’ve seen some clubs who have two keepers of the same value.”
Wenger also adds that those clubs did not choose and they play two games one keeper and two games the other keeper, and the end result is all bed.
In the team Lukasz Fabianksi and Wojciech Szczesny are sharing the Carling Cup duties and Almunia failed to play for six weeks before replacing Vito Mannone last week against Tottenham in the Premier League.
At first he was away complaining chest infection, but Arsenal boss’ decision was also influenced by Almunia’s mother-in-law’s death in a car crash.
Well, he was impressed by the attitude of Almunia even when he was not brought back immediately in the squad and also has been encouraged by the performance of Spaniard over the previous seven days against the Tottenham and AZ Alkmaar.
Arsene Wenger said, “To me he looks back to his best – I’m not worried about him.”
