Cesc Fabregas is relishing his role that has been handed Arsene Wenger in 4-3-3 formation this season.

According to the new shape of the team Fabregas has been given freedom to get on the ball and also influence the events in the final third.

On the official website he says, “It is difficult to say which position I prefer but probably the one I’m playing now is where I feel most comfortable.”

He says that he is still getting there and to be at his best in that position. He added that when he started playing at the Arsenal then he was playing 4-4-2 and he was one of those two in the middle. Fabregas then could come deep to get the ball. He further said that he was young and it was really good for him as he got more time from that deep positions to link with other players and to move forward from deep.

Now the position of Fabregas is higher up on the pitch. Now he don’t touch the ball frequently as it was before, but at this point he can do dangerous things if we talk in terms of giving the final ball.

Fabregas says, “I feel more freedom in that position.”
