Arsenal defeated Blackburn by 6-2 in Premier League

With 6-2 win over Blackburn Rovers today at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal underlined its status in the Premier League. It overcame an early deficit.

The Rovers ended the game in disaray. There were 6 different scorers on the Arsenal side. The fans, as it was a home side, delighted the Gunners with their support and grew the squads confidence.

The scorers from Arsenal were Thomas Vermaelen, Andriy Arshavin, Robin van Persie, Cesc Fabregas, Nicklas Bendtner, and the returning Theo Walcott.

On the other hand, the defeated Rovers never won any game against Arsenal. The scorer on Rovers side were Stephen Nzonzi and David Dunn.

Let us check what Arsene Wenger, the manager of Arsenal, said after this grand success: “When we are confident we have a flow that looks like the goals will come at any moment and from anywhere. They enjoy what they do. They enjoy to play together and that for me is most important. There is some strength coming out of this team, we have to add some discipline defensively. We looked always like we would score goals.”
