That was his response to a question: “who would you like to meet” and one of many answers William Gallas gave to several boyhood questions he was asked in an interview with the club’s TV back in the middle of last season.

Brazil international Melo’s switch to Juve appeared imminent after reports claimed they had beaten Arsenal to his signature.
It is suggested Juve struck an agreement of cash plus right winger Marchionni in order to meet Melo’s buy-out clause of £21.6million.
However, Marchionni’s agent, Bruno Carpeggiani, has revealed that Fiorentina would not meet the player’s wage demands.
“Unfortunately, nothing will be done,” Carpeggiani told Gazzetta.it.
“We only asked for €200,000 (£173,000) more than the amount Marco earns at Juventus, but Fiorentina wouldn’t agree. It’s a pity.”

USA Gunner my advise to you is to forget the whole Melo situation coz quite frankly if you think 200,000 will suddenly result in Melo moving to the Emirates instead of Old Lady’s back yrad you in for a huge surprise.
Melo business is old business we were used as a pawn and it worked for Fiorentina,pity we never try those tactics ourselves on one of our players [Adebayooooor]

Wooo… arsene is speaking with matuidi and is in advance talks.. we are gonna sign him soon. Hopefully we get to sign him and the price is only around 2.5million almost only a tenth of what melo is worth. Matuidi is younger and more powerhouse.
Forget about melo, I dont like him. Get matuidi instead and cana if possible.
Regarding Cesc, if he leaves, dont bother buying anyone. Just move arshavin into his role and give the left mid role back to rosicky and the right mid role to nasri. Bring on walcott as a super sub to out run those tired legs of the opposition. Otherwise, give ramsey, merida, lansbury and wilshere a chance.
Sell off adebayor. This guy sucks, even milan does not want him. Nobody wants him now, he is a liability on arsenal’s part. We must get rid of him asap. Sell him off please.
RvP has signed and this is good news. RvP and Eduaro would be the main strikeforce. RvP and Bendtner or Eduardo with Bendtner would be good too. Vela should spent another season on the flanks with walcott before being moved in as a striker. They need to learn how to beat defenders.
As long as Toure Gallas stays, together with Vermaelen and Djourou, our defense is safe. We still have song, hoyte and silvestre that can play in there. Hopefully, i dont see silvestre playing frequently next season, we dont need him unless we are in dire state.
Therefore, our most pressing problem is still in DM. We need matuidi and another player, possibly cana. We need no strikers or attacking midfielders, except if cesc leaves, we can buy eden hazard as a replacement for arshavin or rosicky in the future.
We the mighty arsenal needs only a defensive midfielder now!!!!!!! Give me at least one DM by the end of the week.

Who is this Blaise Matuidi guy? He play the CDM?
Matuidi, Inler and Bossong brought in for about 20 mill? Sounds a little better than one player for 22.
They are not going to sell Cesc this year. Next year he will be gone, and I agree him and Ady can leave and it would seem to free up so much stress in the media. I have no problem with inserting Nasri, AA or Wilshire into Cesc’s spot and Ady…well we have better and more hearted strikers coming up and on the team.
