  5. Neal says:

Nasri had a solid first season, but it wasn’t spectacular. He played well, but would be behind Arshavin, Song and Almunia for POTS!

  6. janzZ says:

    yeah ping .
    i luv this guy.
we’ll have a lot of joy wit him in the coming years along with cesc, arshawin and theo. but i still think sam could do better =)
    maybe even as a cm.

  7. bewster says:

what a fantastic player hugs that left touch line well and cuts inside beautifully and i just loved the way he stood up to that f*cking tramp barton, who said the gunners are pushovers

  8. USA Gunner says:

great player, and a sign that the Gaffer still knows what he’s doing.

I think we just need to get a squad that plays in the same spot each game. Enough of this rotation crap, get a player that knows his spot and can play it.

    Almunia
    Sagna, Toure,Vermi(sp)Gail
    Theo, Cesc, (New guy) Nasri
    AA
    RVP

can’t wait to see Jacki play..this kid is going to be AWESOME! I might be more excited to watch teh CC and FA cup games.

  9. mr_rossi says:

very solid first season for someone so young, he had a better first season than pires i reckon and if he can get anywhere near the form pires showed in his prime then we are in for a treat

You guys really think Rosicky is going to be able to come back?

I bet him and AA would be dynomite!! Good god would that be a fun pair to watch.

RVP all the way over Ady.

What would you guys say about giving Ady to Milan for Flamoney and some $$$$$?

  13. steve says:

Doesn’t travel too well, but has been absolutely brilliant in the big games, as the writing says at the end of the video, some very important goals
Just hope he isn’t playing in defensive mid next season…

  14. arsenekidz says:

Nasri after his first season playing in the Barclay Premier League can only get better and wiser.

  15. Bergs says:

I actually thought he was quite poor. The malaise that engulfed this team this season, quickly grabbed our wonderkid shortly after the ManUtd win. It was as if he suddenly decided that this team wasn’t good enough for him to play in.

The signing of Arsharvin indicated a gulf in class, in terms of end product, determination and application.

He’s certainly another – one for the future – but he’s a ways to go before he becomes our new Pires.

    that trip against Barton…priceless….

those goals vs Man U amazing..

    that goal vs Hull….perfect

Great signing, he can only get better in the EPL!

  18. subatomicman says:

Nasri showed great skill for a man asked to play a new position.I thought Wenger’s decision to sign was clearly justified. And he brought more physicality than I expected from this season. I think he’ll only get better on the left, now with Arshavin, Fab, and Walcott joining him in the midfield.
I think Song will be even better next year, he was showing great improvement as the season went on. If they want to improve anything, I think they need some younger CB’s, guys with some speed that can get back during a transition. I like Gallas, he’s wonderfully intense and has scored many a crucial goal against the BIG 3, but he’s old and slower. Perhaps Djourou will be able to step in, or Sakho (if they can sign him)? We’ll see…

  19. Fabregas' Dad says:

I think a major problem was that later on in the season Clichy started getting forward less and so he had less support. I’d prefer to see him playing on the right wing with Rosicky on the left rather than shifting him around all the time (Arshavin would be second striker).

I’d say that most of the time he was average, and better in the first half of the season. Although he clearly has the potential to be a great player.
