Adebayor is Chelsea bound

Emmanuel Adebayor may be destined to head elsewhere this summer, but his destination may be West London.
We have seen many managerial old hands make temporal handshakes with Roman Abramovich and – as if any gooner would care – depart.
But Chelsea’s new episode of instability could well affect plans at the Emirates Stadium.
Monday’s news of Carlo Ancelotti’s appointment as the new chief of Stamford Bridge may have sprung thoughts of Emmanuel Adebayor if you actually reason.
Milan’s legendary tactician is a long admirer of Arsenal’s much-maligned target man.
Ancelotti was poised to renew interest in the Togolese this summer had he remained at the San Siro, but it could even be easier and much more reasonable to recruit Adebayor now at Chelsea.
If a sale to an arch rival is what you assume may stand in Arsene Wenger’s way if Chelsea come calling for his lanky striker, then, for your information, the Frenchman has paved the way for such a move.
He did so a fortnight ago, sampling Ashley Cole’s transfer in 2006 as reason any potential business with Chelsea is possible but unusual.
“Yes, of course, it’s unusual,” he said. “But we sold [Ashley] Cole to Chelsea and we bought [William] Gallas [from Stamford Bridge] so you can never say I never do it because I’ve already done it.”
So draw your hypothesis from this. Ancelotti wants his man, Chelsea have better financial prowess than Milan to make a convincing bid for Adebayor, many of us want the man off ship anyway, and Arsene would not mind.
Could Adebayor be soon a blue?
Selling Adebayor to Chelsea is treason!!! The man has a remarkable goal-scoring record (18 goals and 8-10 assits this season despite injuries and an ever-changing squad). AND OF COURSE… the constant booing which doesn’t help. Wenger has played him in a stupid 4-5-1 which leaves him isolated on his own where I think he would be amazing in a 4-3-3 with consant support.
My ideal lineup would be our normal back 5 but with a new defender to replace Toure (on the bench). Rosicky/Nasri-Cesc and a defensive midfielder in midfield and Ade-RVP-Arshavin up front.
Seriously I would drive him there myself!! Begone foul Satan and never darken our doorstep again. Just to reinforce my rant I looked up the words “Cows arse and Banjo” and there was a picture of Adebayor next to the definition?. Mercenary deserves shooting and scorn same as our esteemed Ashly cuntly 2 faced gotta peachy wife but still wanna fuck a minger cole?

But that’s just what my heart wants. We should look at it more realistically. If he is sold do you think we will be able to buy a good enough replacement. Who exactly could the replacement be? I don’t think we have enough resources to buy Villa or Benzema. So I think we would be better off with him. Hope Eduardo gets fully fit and joins the first team so Adebayor can remain restricted to substitute appearances!
I think we need to keep our current squad intact as well as add two or three more players. Selling is not a good option

The only reason reports like this get out is because papers just assume that b/c Ancelotti wanted him at Milan then he would automatically want him at Chelsea.

Absolutely agree. Adebeyor is a cancer to the club (Wenger himself admitted that Ade’s antics affected and destabilized the whole club).
Swap Adebeyor for Alex and Anelka (or 15M and buy Huntelaar)
Sell Eboue, Denilson, Diaby, Senderos too.
I’d love to see Benzema too but it will never happen.
We’ve already lost out on Barry, so Lorik Cana would be a massive fan favourite and have Christiano Ronaldo mincing in his sleep with nightmares of the impending tackles.
Lescott or Sahko would be be very handy to shore up the defence.

I think the recently deceased Danny La Rue in full drag would be better that Adebayor at the moment. OK granted he has scored some great and Important goals for us. However his attitude on the pitch is somewhat reminiscent of a reluctant reggae ban player who has been booked at a KKK meeting?

It’s true, if Ade goes we have to replace him. Will Wenger buy big, I hope so, because if he doesn’t we will spiral further as Man City get stronger. Hell, even Sunderland have money to spend now, we must compete or we will collapse. Even if we keep Ade we are not incisive enough, and Bendtner clearly isn’t ready. The others are unexperienced too and often injured, RVP is not an out an out striker, and we can’t rely on a midfield that simply is not Ljungberg, Viera, and Pires. I can’t fathom Wenger at the moment. Why did he drop Denilson at the crucial stage? Why does he play one up top? Why does he think Fab is a forward player? Why does he have faith in inconsistent Diaby? This summer will tell us everything we need to know about the coming season in my opinion.

The only way that I’d be ok with letting ade got the chelsea is if we can get essien in exchange. However, if we would do a trade then it would probably be for kalou as Wenger has admitted his interest last summer
If we can’t get Essien we should definetly hold onto ade because I dont think bendtner is ready to take over for a full season yet. Thus we’d have to waste money and time getting a replacement striker when we should be more concerned with our defense and midfield
