LOL Risje, there is no assurance that this Arshavin deal will happen and there's also no assurance that Wenger will just ignore that defensive issue like that...when it's obviously the main problem.

Let's just cross our fingers and watch how Le Gaffer pulls the trick.

Looking at the way Arsenal is playing this season and comparing it to the way they played last season, even if Flamini have stayed in London, the end-result would have been the same. Flamini seems to be missed just because he was huge last year but Song is a decent player. Diaby is a young Vieira type of player when fit. Both are young and have tremendous potential to improve. I would not by a CDM. That area is covered in my opinion. The void that was not covered is the one left by Hleb. Arshavin by is an attempt by Wenger to replace Hleb.

What Arsenal is missing right now is a world class goal keeper and a center defender.

i don't know about this one. he seems like a player who would play behind the forward so im not sure where he would fit in since wegner's insistence to play with 2 up top. he is definately a skilled player though and adds some definate depth. i feel he is hleb like on the ball but is more conifdent shooting in front of goal. he could play wide but he would drift in a lot condensing the field..
